Chris Lane VIEW PROFILE

Christopher Lane of Scranton died Jan. 22 in Miami.

Born April 8, 1970, he was the son of the late Anna and Albert Lane. He attended Scranton Central High School, where he lettered and played football. After graduation, he enlisted in the Marines, serving for eight years. He played football for the University of Nevada Reno "Wolfpack," where he was a special teams standout.

Surviving are his ex-wife, Sherry Lane Floyd; a son, Christopher Lane Jr.; a niece, DaShawna Baldwin; and an older brother, Jonathan Lane.


 

Chris will be Missed.

I can remember many many years ago being out in Reno visiting a friend.  I go to walk into a club and Chis was working the door, while attending college.  It was a shock seeing two Scranton peeps out in Reno.. We had some laughs and BS'ed about the good old days in HS.

Chris will be missed dearly...he was an asset to our military and an overall wonderful individual. I will always remember the good in him! RIP Chris..you will be deeply missed.

Chris always had a smile on his face and always put a smile on everyone elses face with that infectious smile of his. He will deeply missed by all. RIP Chris.
